MEAL PROGRAM

It is incredibly important that our students eat healthy meals to be fueled for the day! Countless studies show that students with better nutrition are better able to learn, have fewer absences, have behavioral improvements, and achieve more academically.

Our daily breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack are provided by Better4YouMeals which make nutritious food for several schools in the bay area. Their menus are well-balanced and nutritious and follow the federal guidelines of the National School Lunch Program.

Lunch Pricing
Be sure to fill out your Free and Reduced Lunch (FRL) forms each new school year!

Meal payments are accepted by cash, check, money order or credit/debit cards at the main office. Pre-paying for meals is preferred.

Standard Breakfast: $2.00 / Reduced Breakfast $.30
Standard Lunch: $3.00 / Reduced Lunch $.40

RiC Meal Charge Policy
For families who don’t qualify for free and reduced price school meals, Roses charges meals at the time of service and sends invoices homes to families at the end of every month. Roses strongly encourages families to prepay for their children’s meals.

If families need assistance with paying for their children’s meals or debt they can contact the Business Manger about resources such as repayment plans.

Free Meals Over Summer
Nutritious free meals are available for children and teens 18 and younger at many locations throughout the nation throughout the summer while school is out of session. Use the mapping tool to find a site near you. The tool can be found at https://www.fns.usda.gov/summerfoodrocks.

Food Allergies
The only food accommodation we provide on a wide and daily basis is vegetarian. Any student with a food limitation beyond this can fill out the attached medical form to have a meal that accommodates his or her health needs.
