OUSD APPROVES ROSES IN CONCRETE CHARTER

OUSD APPROVES ROSES IN CONCRETE CHARTER

On October 7, 2015, the Oakland Unified School District board voted 5-0 to approve Roses in Concrete Community School. This is a critical step that will allow the school to move forward with location, recruitment and enrollment, and preparation for the 2015-2016 school year.

Students, teachers, parents, and community members gathered to show support, each carrying a red rose symbolizing their commitment to cultivating a garden of leaders in East Oakland.
